The Pakowhai Country Park near Hastings has developed from a major realignment of the nearby Ngaruroro River and has been landscaped and planted over the past 40 years. HBRC now manages most of the 21 ha park, with the carpark and road frontage managed by Hastings District Council.
Plenty of paths will lead you here,
but only one gate will get you there.
Enter in, and be sure it is shut,
you dont wont to let in a scraggly mutt
Seek this container is what you must do,
be careful where you stand, there may be some poo
Small trees and flax dont give much cover
Be careful of prying eyes as you try to uncover
You will need you own writing instrument, and have fun.
