La Montaña de La Laguna es uno de los cuatro en una fila de volcanes. En la dirección norte se colindante a él la Montaña Argual (323 metros), el Triana Montaña (358 metros) y al sur la Montaña Todoque (348 metros).
En una caminata, que es más como un paseo fácil, se abre un mundo de la lava rojo y marrón, capturado de cardos, tártago y una escoba. Aunque situado en el medio de una escena muy frecuentado, se parece que se camina pared en una realidad diferente. Liberado del tiempo y la vida agitada, te hace sentir como un observador permanecer detrás de una pared de vidrio que ofrece una vista sobre la otra realidad y nos mantiene aún antes de ella.

Jedoch belohnt er seine Besteiger mit einem außergewöhnlichen Panoramablick von Puerto de Tazacorte mit seiner Steilwand, über das gesamte Aridanetal mit den beiden Städten Los Llanos und El Paso bis hinunter zum Leuchtturm von La Bombilla. Die Rundumsicht schließt sich mit einem Schwenk über den Atlantik wieder zurück zum El Time.
Der Montaña La Laguna ist einer von vier in einer Reihe stehenden Vulkanen. Ihm schließen sich in nördlicher Richtung der Montaña Argual (323 Meter), der Montaña Triana (358 Meter) und im Süden der Montaña Todoque (348 Meter) an.
Bei einer Wanderung, welche eher einem Spaziergang gleicht, eröffnet sich eine Welt aus rotbrauner Lava, erobert von Disteln, Wolfmilchgewächsen und Ginster. Obwohl inmitten einer verkehrsreichen Landschaft gelegen, scheint es, als wandele man über eine andere Realität. Befreit von Zeit und Alltagshektik fühlt man sich wie ein Betrachter hinter einer imaginären Glasfront, die den Blick auf die andere Realität freigibt und uns trotzdem vor ihr bewahrt.
Ein Abstecher lohnt sich auf jeden Fall.
