This geocache was originally placed as Day #12 for the Berks Explorer Seeking Tupperware 12 Caches of Christmas 12/12/12 event. The Event is over, but the cache lives on. *smile*

A Walk in the Woods

Everyone loves a walk in the woods especially around the holidays. There are many ways to access this Letter Box Hybrid. The easy way, the hard way and my way! I have provided a trailhead set of coordinates that will get you to a very CURVY dirt bike trail that takes you on a wonderful walk through the forest. At the trailhead follow the path to where it intersects with the dirt bike trail. Turn right. I have added a new DIRECT trailhead for those who prefer LESS of a walk in the woods. There are several intersecting trails that you may want to explore that will get you to Stage 1 also. There maybe a need to bushwhack as some of the trails are overgrown, stay on a trail in the general direction of Stage 1. Be sure to read the notes at each reference point there are helpful hints there!

Maybe you will spot a deer or a woodpecker or nuthatch! Follow the clues at each Reference point to find the Letter Box. Remember to bring your STAMP. The stamp and ink pad in the final are to remain in the cache and are NOT trade items.

This area is open for public hunting so please be sure to wear ORANGE during hunting season! (or attempt on a Sunday when hunting is not allowed) Have fun and Good Luck! The final may not be kid friendly so parents beware!
