Royal Oak: As the owner has not responded to my previous log requesting that they check this cache I am archiving it. It is not normal to unarchive a cache, which has been archived due to a lack of maintenance.

Geocache Description:

Annies Ambles is a group of 20 caches strung out along a circular walk of about 5 miles on pleasant footpaths and farmfields of mid Wirral. The caches are varied in size but most are small to medium with the occassional micro thrown in. Most will be simple to find but a few will test your powers of observation. Parking is at Hadlow Road Railway Station.

This is a small traditional cache that is hidden along one of my favourite footpaths on the Wirral. This footpath can be extremely wet in certain parts depending on the amount of rainfall and the season of the year. However, you can always nip into the field to bypass any really wet sections.. Congratulations to lostnwet for their FTF @ 10.00am on the 24.10.2012. If you complete the entire 20 caches in the series why not claim your series badge by emailing me. Once at GZ, you’ll notice that the area has seen extensive cutting back so DONT ATTEMPT A FRONTAL ASSAULT BUT NIP AROUND THE BACK, INTO THE FIELD VIA THE FIELD ENTRANCE AND COME IN FROM THE REAR.
