A very unusual find for Newfoundland, but we thought we would introduce you to the world of Herpetology.
Found on every continent except Antarctica, these leg-less reptiles have not yet made their way into our Island. Strictly carnivorous, the size of the prey is decided on the size of their bodies. Given the fact that they cannot bite or tear their food to pieces, they must swallow prey whole. But don’t worry, our caches are on the small end of the scale....
Located on a very nice trail, you will have to pass three other caches to get to these. The majority of the trail is dry, but there is one spot where boots would be recommended. Tweezers are a must; also the cache contains only a log so please BYOP. All caches are winter friendly.
