The Seton Centre is a historical building that is currently used as an art gallery, small museum, and gift shop. It is named after Ernest Thompson Seton who was a world-renowned artist and naturalist who spent much of his time between 1882-1892 in the Carberry and North Cypress area. He was also a founding pioneer in the Scouting movement
Weird facts about Mr. Seton, he had a huge, bush moustache and he love wolves.
He wrote, โMy sincerest wish has been to impress upon people that each of our native wild creatures is in itself a precious heritage that we have no right to destroy or put beyond the reach of our children."
