Take Another Letter Maria! Letterbox Hybrid
Bigguy In Texas: I visited this cache recently to check on its status. It was still in place but the path to reach it had been compromised. The cache itself was taking on water so I decided to archive it and place something different in this area. Stay tuned!

This is a letter-box cache.
The container is NOT at the posted coordinates but very close (125 ft.). That makes for a true letter-box experience, good luck!
Letterbox directions;
1. Park at the tennis courts.
2. Walk E along Pfenning with the guardrail to your left.
3. When you get to the telephone pole, leave the sidewalk and
find the gap in the barbed-wire fence (just to the south of the huge tree).
4. Walk thru the gap 3 steps, turn 90 degrees to the right (facing S) and...
5. Walk all along the clear path until your GPS turns you east to these coordinates N30 27.308 W97 38.032
6. Walk to the upright but dead tree. Stop.
7. Walk five feet to the dead horizontal tree. From there walk about fifteen steps forward trying to avoid the debris.
8. The container is a little bigger than a small and at ground level. Recover the cache please.
PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THE STAMP IN THE CACHE!
If you do not have your own stamp to use to mark the log book, you can put some of the ink on your fingers and make little thumb figures by your name.
Or you can just sign the log as you do on other caches.
As for the name, I had another LB cache in the Valley called "Take a Letter Maria" - GC10DD1.
This is my second letterbox.
