CacheHownds: Paints me to have to do this, but it's time to archive this one. I don't see that fence coming down any time soon.

Geocache Description:

This cache overlooks one of the many gravel pits in the Okanagan.

Due to eons of sediment and glacial deposits, many of the hills in the area are little more than dirt, as opposed to rock. This cache lets you look over the workings of a gravel pit, showing the sorted material, and fresh hillsides where the "raw material" is harvested from.

The cache is a 800ml locked camouflaged rectangle container. It's a easy walk up a wide gravel trail to the edge of the hill to where the cache is located. Just watch your footing retrieving the cache. Pull off for parking accessible just off of Glenmore Road.

Good Luck!

Congratulations to Mudrock1 and DaisyDolittle on the FTF!
