All My Life's A Circle Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Slow Puncture (LJCC): Sadly, this one has to go to the great cache cemetery in the sky.

This is the third time it has been removed.

For a cache is such a busy location, it has done pretty well. It was our 4th hide, and managed to last for 2 and a half years, with 137 hides and only 4 DNFs.

Geocache Description:

You may approach this cache from 4 different directions - that may give a hint to start with.  5 directions if you are considering skydiving - but if you consider this approach, note the 33000 volt catenary on the nearby railway line...LJCC accepts no responsibility :)

You seek a 1.1 litre systema-style container.  The cache is located near what was once a single straight road, running alongside the North Coast Railway.  That single road is now intersected by the clue that Harry Chapin has kindly supplied in the cache name.

Once a single road, you can now find your way to Burpengary, Narangba, Redcliffe or The Bruce Highway, and Narangba Valley.  There's the last clue.  You just read it!

I imagine you may have worked out by now what the cache is near - so please take care, especially with Geokids - "Watch out, watch out! There's traffic about!" Parking is limited, but freely available - I suggest on the grassy patch on the south-east side of the location.

Do not be startled by the sudden whine (electric) or growl (diesel) of passing trains - they can sneak up on you whilst you are searching! If you observe, you can see where the original alignment of the road that ran alongside the railway was, and imagine the days when the bridge was not there. Smoking PB15s and C17s would have ambled past FJ Holdens. How times change. But all our life's a circle...

FTF Certificate for the lucky lucky early eager beaver bird!

Congratulations to Treking Trev for being FTF! There is some karma at work here, the first cache LJCC ever found was Treking Trev's 'Gray Grady', which got me enthused about caching.
