Cache is a large lockable container (2 qts). There is no need to move any rocks!
Park at the end of Piggott Rd, off to the side, or drive to the right of the gate to a small turnaround/parking spot. Once there is plowed snow, there will likely be no parking.
Walk past the gate along a dirt road, taking a right at the fork, and find the Carl Siemon Trail cache. The new trail, marked in yellow, is in front of the kiosk. It leads in about 1/2 mile to the site of a fish hatchery from 1934. You will see the parallel pools, remains of a dam, and a "canal" that brough water to the pools.
The trail and informative kiosks are Corey Woods' Eagle Scout project, from troop #173 in Dover, NH. Thank you Corey for leading us to this interesting bit of history. The trail and caches have permission of the owner, Cynthia Siemon Wyatt of Branch Hill Farms, thanks to her and her family for conserving their land and keeping it open to the public.
