Say Hello to Harvey Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time or has had no owner response for at least 30 days, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

CONGRATS TO OTHG FOR THE FTF!! IN THE DARK, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! Located along scenic Harvey's Creek on Route 118, this area is great for hunting deer or turkey, or trout fishing. Known as the Lackawanna State Forest, it encompasses 2,600 acres and is incorporated into 15,000 additional forested acres located in Luzerne, Lackawanna, and Wyoming counties. This parcel completes a 2.1 million dollar project finalized by DCNR in 2004.

Not a difficult cache to find. It is very large, and preloaded with swag. You shouldn't have to bushwack to get to the cache site, however, wooded area is littered with downed branches and there are uneven rocks hidden under the leaf cover. There is a waypoint included for parking- please be careful exiting your vehicle, as traffic on 118 can be fast and close. Have fun and Happy Geocaching!
