Geocache Description:

              

               

                Lakeview Park, on the east side of Watseka, Illinois, located 90 miles south of the Chicago Loop, is the newest addition to the local park system.   A 3/4 mile concrete walking path follows the shoreline and the park contains a picnic shelter, a playground for children, three basketball hoops, a skateboard/rollerblade park, a fishing dock  and two paved  parking areas.  Several benches are located around the perimeter for resting or watching the geese.
                The local park district provides an annual fishing derby and an Easter egg hunt for children.  A radio controlled sailboat regatta is held  annually and the area is open to fishing by the public. Limits and size restrictions on fish catches are posted.  A paved area is flooded annually in early winter and becomes a free ice skating rink.
                The first pair of Canadian geese hatched and raised a brood of five and each year the numbers of geese increased, now occasionally numbering flocks of hundreds.  The city weekly attempts to clean the walkways but walkers should watch their step.

                The cache is at the given coordinates, but is in a disguised container. Not exactly an evil cache, it may require a little diligent searching.  A small amount of bushwhacking is required.  Enjoy your visit and don't forget to look for the other caches in the area.
