This cache was originally placed by the North Country Trail Association back in 2001. It has been most recently adopted by Mister TFM, in October of 2013.

This stash is located near the Trailhead parking lot on the RT 528 north of Lake Arthur in Moraine State Park http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/findapark/moraine/. You can reach Route 528 from either Route 8 or Route 422. Park in the trailhead lot and go east crossing Route 528. This is a great overlook so take your time, go to the benches and think about where the stash is hidden. There is a lot to do in the area. Enjoy.
Make sure to stay on the trail and follow the blue blazes. The trail will bring you to the closest point to where the hidden cache is located. Following line of sight you will bypass the overlooks and benches.

The North Country Trail is marked with blue blazes. It is being built by volunteer member’s of the NCTA. This is part of the North Country National Scenic Trail, the longest hiking trail in the nation. This is a very beautiful trail. Volunteers build the bridges and maintain trail.
