Geocache Description:

Park and Grab cache on floral 'T' Junction just outside Stakepool Village. Nudges freely given on submittion of a DNF :) This cache meets the Urban Placement Guidelines
Log only.

Site is the area of a previous cache of mine which has been archived. This one is wheelchair friendly.

Site is near the old Pilling station, all sorts of things went through here, "Pilling Pets" was part of the station complex and was previously home to Hebden's Emporium. Hebdens is no longer with us, closing it's doors for good recently. The building is to the left of the cache site and was one time used for the Knott-end to Garstang railway, Pilling station being to the right. One could purchase all manner of weird things, from poultry leg rings, buckets with udders to suckle calves, horse blankets and something to keep the flies off. Possibly even " fork 'andles" or "'ose." For those that havn't seen it follow the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sO6EE1xTXmw Sneaky container, I know how you like these. Park sensibly, there are places to park a short walk away, the walk will do you good and you can see the flowers better.( Assuming it's not winter ) Take your time, sit on the bench and watch the world go by. Cache is not too difficult, use your eyes, the clues are there. The cache is NOT within any of the displays. Please report any DNF's as I suspect the cache may slither off. The Pilling Pig is only a couple of hundred yards(metres) to the west, well worth a walk, Free llama/alpaca viewing too. Well done djandyuk for being first to find on 24th Oct 2012.
