It is with much pleasure we have hidden this cache, that has been skillfully made over some time by our friends, Kaye and Mike.
We have spent many a happy hour walking in this area together over many years now, mostly ending up at the Boat Edge Café for afternoon tea.
The Barwon River
The River and its environs are marvelous places for water sports, walking, cycling, fishing or just relaxing. There are ample facilities to help you enjoy a visit.
King Lloyd Reserve
It is set in a lovely spot adjacent to the walking trails of Barwon River in Newtown. The reserve is also connected to the Yollinko Wetlands. There is a good view of the Golf Course nearby.
The cache is a well camouflaged 500 mls screw top container. It contains a log book, pencil and some Geokids things for swapping.
PLEASE BE CAREFUL RETRIEVING AND REPLACING THE CACHE AS CAMO IS FRAGILE.
