Geocache Description:

"Terrible hell make war" (Shakespeare 1564-1616) This is a tribute to our brave veterans. Some gave all, all gave some.

I used to have a neighbor who fought in Korea and was taken prisoner. Some of the stories he told could curl your hair. But the one I really remember-

He said that when he first arrived in the P.O.W. camp and was put in a wooden cell with the others, that one wall was a complete carving of the Last Supper, and that it had been done using only their fingernails. He said it gave him strength to carry on.

So- The first coordinates will take you to the Korean War Memorial. Look for the story of Sgt. Kaufman, the Medal of Honor recipient. At the bottom is the year he died. Take the year and subtract these numbers for the final coordinates.

Year minus 1278 = xxx            N 45 17.xxx
Year minus 1366 = yyy           W 122 45.yyy

The final location is another memorial park that is closed from dusk to dawn. Cache is a hidden tupperware container.
