Geocache Description:

This cache has been placed with permission from Pastor Dave. I named this cache in his honor (with his permission) because he collects smooshed pennies-- just like me.

As you enter the church driveway from 281, turn right onto the gravel parking lot (before you get to the blacktop). Cache is a camo taped plastic jar placed in a tree a little ways off the parking lot. Do not attempt to find cache from 281.

Pastor Dave and I share a hobby - collecting smooshed pennies. I have added a small container of smooshed pennies inside the cache container. Leave one from your travels, if you can. I have left some from around SA.

My father and I met Pastor Dave for lunch one day and we compared our smooshed penny collections. I think I had more pennies, but he thought he might have misplaced some of his over the years. It's a good hobby - it takes up very little room to store and costs just 51 cents (usually).  According to Pastor Dave, one time he drove 120 miles out of his way on a vacation because he wanted to stop at a certain smooshed penny machine.  I don't think my parents would ever do that, but they try to have some quarters and pennies in their pockets when we travel.
