Cache is now an offset, the way it was when I originally placed it in 2002 (though NOT with the same initial or final positions).
Go to the coordinates listed. This position was averaged over 125 times, so no complaining about accuracy.
Take a bearing (preferably with an actual compass and not your GPS) of 47.5° and walk approximately 28 meters in that direction. If you know how to project a waypoint on your GPS, that would work...knowing your pace count would also work and it's probably just a good idea for everyone to know what their pace count is anyway. If you don't know how to find your pace count, there are a lot of places that explain it on google.
Start searching for the cache there...you should be right on it at that location.
The bearing was taken with a VERY expensive and well-made compass, accurate to within 1/2 of one degree...some claim 1/4 degree accuracy, so no whining about that either, please...the bearing is correct.
You can use your GPS receiver if you must, but if you cannot find it, please do not whine and complain about it in the log...just get a real compass and you'll be able to find it then. If you can find it with your GPS' compass, well good for you.
Edit: Starting to get slightly irked seeing log entries with little or no text. From now on, if you can't be bothered to make a comment on finding this cache, I am going to delete your log.
This is the first geocache located on the campus of Texas A&M University. Enjoy!
Many modern GPS receivers have the ability to project a waypoint and have a built-in compass, but if yours doesn't or you're unsure how to use it then you'll probably want to take a real (magnetic) compass with you. It'll probably save you a second trip back. (Check out the previous "not found" logs)
If you'd like to know the significance of the name of this cache, please email me and I'll explain. I'm not allowed to state it here.
Please be very careful when putting the cache back. Too many people are reporting having trouble retrieving it, so please be mindful of that while still making it inconspicuous.
Note: I will not tolerate whining about my cache in your log. If you don't care for this cache and want to make up names to call it, please do feel free to not go looking for it. I wouldn't want to cause you any disappointment because you lack the ability to shoot an azimuth, walk an exact distance, and find the cache. So if that bothers you, there are plenty of other caches in this area for you to go find that are more in line with your limited abilities.
Short version -- if you whine and complain about this cache in your log, your log will be deleted.
