One of the many churches bearing the name of St. George is located in the city center. Located between the streets "Patriarch Euthymius" and "King Samuel".

"St. George" was built in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century near Sofia barracks. The church was consecrated on 11.XІ.1918 years - the feast of St. Mina. The building is a three-nave basilica lit throne. Right side, south throne in honor of St. John of Rila the Wonderworker and left northern throne in honor of St. Basil the Great. Currently temple paints. Written completely holy altar and the central dome. One of the most beautiful churches in the distinctive architecture.

Една от многобройните църкви, носещи името на Свети Георги Победоносец се намира в центъра на София. Разположена е между улиците "Патриарх Евтимий" и "Цар Самуил".

Храм "Свети Георги" е построен в края на ХІХ и началото на ХХ век недалеч от софийските казарми. Храмът е осветен на 11.ХІ.1918 г. – празникът на Св. Мина. Сградата е трикорабна базилика с три осветени престола. Страничния десен, южен престол е в чест на Св. Иван Рилски Чудотворец, а левият северен престол в чест на Св. Василий Велики. В момента храма се изографисва. Изписани са напълно светия олтар и централния купол. Една от най-красивите столични църкви с характерна архитектура.
