Geocache Description:

The cache is a turtle container that contains a logbook and pencil with items to swap. Remember, if you take something you must leave something of equal value behind.

Walking along the bridleway you can see Hanstead House as you approach Drop Lane. For a short detour, at the ford take the footpath, right, to see the River Ver meet the River Colne at their confluence and take the opportunity to do another cache, the Colne Cache.

The cache is located on one of a series of circular walks on the River Ver, Ver Valley Walk 8 - The Confluence Walk. Parts of the walk can be muddy or wet underfoot in some seasons, so wear suitable footwear.

Please ensure the cache is well covered and secure in place.
