NEW LOCATION: Ethy Parkland, Lerryn (see log below) - 23 February 2013
Ethy Parkland is a stunning spot and a task unlike the previous CITOs. Ethy wood extends along the bank from Lerryn to Ethy Rock, take a stroll past contorted veteran oaks and keep your eyes peeled for kingfishers and egrets. In the upper reaches of the Fowey, the tide creeps up Lerryn Creek twice a day. Meeting point is the Lerryn car park located at 50° 23.028'N 4° 37.062'W. It will be a 9.30am start, and is scheduled to finish at about 3.30pm. Instructions from the National Trust are to please bring sturdy footwear, work gloves if you have them, waterproofs and lunch. Come and support a good cause.... say thank you to the NT for all the caches they have allowed us to hide on their land :-D
