Geocache Description:

Your walk begins here at the free parking area next to a small heritage garden that contains the old Darvel toll gates. Don't forget................you will need a writing stick and TWEEZERS. Walking boots would be a good choice of footwear.

A series of caches on a 5 mile circuitous walk that is not really suitable for cache and dashing. It begins with an uphill climb to the south rim of the valley before levelling out through deciduous woodland. The route then descends through the Lanfine estates to the west lodge in Newmilns and returns to Darvel along a pleasant riverside walk.

FTF goes to Browander who was caching in the dark........well done.
