Geocache Description:

If you started at GC407XY '1 Basecamp' you will walk past the town park (feel free to have a slide on the chute) before crossing the river Irvine near the east gatehouse of the Lanfine estates. At this point you need to take a small detour from the intended route.

A series of caches on a 5 mile circuitous walk that is not really suitable for cache and dashing. It begins with an uphill climb to the south rim of the valley before levelling out through deciduous woodland. The route then descends through the Lanfine estates to the west lodge in Newmilns and returns to Darvel along a pleasant riverside walk.

FTF goes to Browander who was caching in the dark.......well done.
