Geocache Description:

Skip round the gate (watch out for barbed wire on top) and then try passing Hill cottage without making the dogs bark ............. not an easy task.

A series of caches on a 5 mile circuitous walk that is not really suitable for cache and dashing. It begins with an uphill climb to the south rim of the valley before levelling out through deciduous woodland. The route then descends through the Lanfine estates to the west lodge in Newmilns and returns to Darvel along a pleasant riverside walk.

FTF goes to Rose & Thistle.................well done.
