Geocache Description:

Normally the burn below is just a trickle but after heavy rain it can quickly change to a raging torrent. There is no need to go down the banking towards the burn. Please replace as found.

A series of caches on a 5 mile circuitous walk that is not really suitable for cache and dashing. It begins with an uphill climb to the south rim of the valley before levelling out through deciduous woodland. The route then descends through the Lanfine estates to the west lodge in Newmilns and returns to Darvel along a pleasant riverside walk.
