This trail is above and beyond the Ventura Botanical Gardens Trails in Grant Park. You can make this a shorter hike if you park in one of the shoulder spots along the road below. Or you can make it longer if you park behind Ventura City Hall and take the trail from the back of the upper parking lot.Tuesdays are free for hiking the Botanical Gardens trail.Dogs are only allowed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays on the Botanical trail.
