Camp Squeah is a place that has held a special place with me for many many years.
Camp Squeah, in the local Salish dialect, alludes to 'Place of Refuge'.
Located in the beautiful Fraser Canyon, within 2 hours drive of almost anywhere in the Lower Mainland, Camp Squeah offers a place to take refuge from that which occupies you day in and day out.
When I was a child I was given the opportunity to go to this camp during the summer, and it was the first true place that offered several avenues for me to create long lasting bonds, built up my confidence, planted the seeds of several good characteristics.
I have been very fortunate to have been a part of this place, and I offer other to come and visit and see what a truly magical place Camp Squeah is.
