The Ghost of Lillian Kemp Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

FiListata: Two of the three containers have gotten lost since I moved out of the building. When I try looking for them I only find stabby plants and rat poison. Thanks cachers! Though the hunt must end, Lillian's spirit will wander the halls for all eternity.

Geocache Description:

Come explore the home of Lillian Kemp as she forever haunts this gorgeous historical Spokane building.

GHOST STORY THEMED MULTI-CACHE! SEEK IF YOU DARE!!!

Lillian Mae Kemp was born in 1896. She and her family moved to Spokane in 1909 to take residence in her father's hotel that was built three years prior. Years later, she fell in love with a young man by the name of James Bernard. She was smitten, but her parents were cold to him and thought that she deserved a more fitting suitor. In 1914, James went to fight in the Great War, where he was killed in battle a year later. Riddled with grief, she made a statement to both her parents and passers by as she hung herself from the hotel roof in the name of her love. Today, the Kempis Hotel serves as luxury condominiums. Residents claim to see her spirit walking through the lobby and basement halls to this day.

Owners Notes: Permission has been given to place these caches. There are two way points not including the cache itself. Pay close attention to the hints, as my GPS tends to jump around close to tall buildings. Contact me if you need any help. Also, I confess that this story is slightly fabricated to enrich your geocaching experience, so feel free to try it at night...... Congratulations to airrooster and 0068 on FTF! Enjoy your coffee guys!

HAVE FUN AND HAPPY HAUNTING!
