When I went out to find 'Muddy Fun' and 'Meeting Point 2', I thought the area was excellent and had to explore further. I have now placed a couple of caches to draw people further along this lovely stretch.
There is a large path (the old train track) heading SW from Meeting Point 2 which is quite interesting to walk on and a more scenic, winding path following the coast. You can take either to get to this cache or why not one out & the other back.
The area in which the cache is placed, is the perfect picnic spot. A lovely clearing on the edge of the water, with great views down the river & plenty of wildlife.
There is evidence of several campfires here so please be stealthy & try to prevent the cache from helping to fuel the next one.
