Geocache Description:

I wonder how tall it will be when you find it?

Before the bike trail there was a lot of growth going on at this location. It was part of West Virginia University's Kearneysville Tree Fruit Research and Education Center. This entire region was once full of orchards but now many have disappeared. The growth of people has increased the value of the land much more than the value of growing fruit. There is still great research going on at this location. They are doing some amazing work in the area of controlling pests without the need for pesticides.
