Near the highway and parking is good. Lots of traffic zooming by and sometimes dog walkers so use caution during your search. Should be an easy find.
While geocaching I have often run across BEARS. Once when I had just found a cache I had put my hand on the cache and heard noises behind me and turning I discovered a bear about 12 feet behind me. We made ots of noise and scared it away then shakily returned to our vehicle. Another time while walking in the bush we spotted a bear about 100 yards away it was foraging and didnt notice us so we quickly slipped away. Another time we were hiking a trail and were coming up a little hill then saw a momma bear just come over the top and a smaller bear with her. Before she noticed we quickly went back down the hill and retreated out of the forest. Just two weeks ago we were hiking for an earth cache and were headed back to our vehicle and had just come back to a gully we had to go through we we saw a really big bear down in the gully on the trail. We could see the vehicle across 2 gullys and no way to get there but through the gully where the bear was. Fortunately the bear heard us, got scared and retreated up the opposite bank, ran farther up the hills and down into another gully..not the way we were headed. This year there have been many bears in Williams Lake and I have seen bears on this road before. I pass by here on my way to work and have seen moose here a few times too..most recently less than a week ago. Quite often deer are seen around here and can be quite a hazard on the highway. Infact last night a deer knocked off my driver side mirror but on the other end of town.
The cache is a lock n lock container under a typical geopile. Please rehide well so not accidentally discovered.
