A glen is a valley, typically one that is long, deep, and often glacially U-shaped; or one with a watercourse running through such a valley. Whittow [1] defines it as a "Scottish term for a deep valley in the Highlands" that is "narrower than a strath."
This cache is located at the end of McDonald drive in a very rugged and hilly area. The area is " shared " with a club that rides dirt bikes etc but they will not present a problem. This land is accessible to the public.
There are several caches in this area and they are all challenging. It can be fairly wet in here in the spring and the bugs are heavy in the summer but if you like rugged terrain and " regular" sized caches then these are for you.
The coords were taken twice and averaged out because of the high surrounding hills and tree cover so they are accurate.to within twenty feet. The cache contains swagg such as: fishing lures, flash light, package of pens and items for the kids. Take whatever you like for a FTF prize.
I hope everyone enjoys finding this cache as much as I enjoyed placing it.
p.s the cache is named after the dog from the farm house that chases cars along McDonald line. I imagine his name is Shepp.
