This is a series of caches focused on the Ecological Communities of Rainbow Springs State Park.

A ruderal ecotone is an area on the margin of a native plant community.  The ruderal area to the north is being colonized by plant species  (such as dogfennel) after a natural or man-made distrubance, such as agriculture, earthmoving, or other soil and community disturbances.
