Geocache Description:

This cache is places near a beautiful vista point of the Hadassah Ein Kerem campus and surrounding wadi. The vista point is also a memorial for the 19th century Mexican President, Benito Juarez.

Reaching the cache requires a small climb off the path, so be careful. You may also smell the wild herbs ("Ezov") growing in the area.

Jerusalem has had the good fortune to be the first city in Israel to be encompassed by green parks as part of the plan to improve the city's quality of life and to protect its natural surroundings. The Jerusalem Ring is a new metropolitan park that extends over some 1,500 hectares (3700 acres), surrounding the capital to the north, west, and south. The park will preserve ancient landscapes while offering a variety of leisure and recreation opportunities, including footpaths, bicycle trails and picnic sites.

The path starts from The First Station. You can rent some bike also there.

Note: This cache was originally thought to be along the Yam to Yam bicycle trail, and so it was named "Yam to Yam Geo-Powertrail: 9.3 km (Benito Juarez)". This turned out to be a incorrect. On Sep 27, 2013 it was renamed so to associate it with the correct trail.
