Geocache Description:

Congrats to Off-roader for his FTF

Whenever I'm on a hike and, at last, the going gets rough and the rough gets going, I always have my mantra to keep my spirits up until the end. At an especially difficult and tiring rope section, steep section, or just down right sketchy section, and I feel like I can go no further, I will begin... to sing!...

"Put one foot in front of the other
And soon you'll be walking 'cross the flo oo oor!
Put one foot in front of the other
And soon you'll be walkin' out the door!

You never will get where you're goin'
If you never get up on your feet.
Come on! There's a good tail wind blowing,
A fast walking [wo]man is hard to beat!"

This cache is in honor of that song from one of my favorite Christmas movies, and how it never lets me down. Hopefully this cache will never let you down, and if you also choose to give yourself to the encouraging power of the Christmas carol, may it always help you when you need it most! You can find it after one of the rope sections on the Mount Olympus hike, when the rough really starts to get going! May the searching for it give you a nice little break before you conquer the mountain, enjoy the scenery that lies before you, and if all else fails: Sing! The! Song!
