According to my 5 year old son, this is an enchanted forest, home to trolls and other creatures, so naturally it should have a treasure as well! 
Start at the parking spot (Waypoint PK) and choose the path that goes straight up into the forest. At the intersection (Waypoint IN), go right and shortly after there is a small path going left up the hill (Waypoint I2).
This is a traditional cache, a small plastic container with a log book and some pencils/pen. You can follow a path through the forest to the cache site, so please stay on the trail. Walking boots are recommended, the trail can get slippery, but its not a difficult trek.
NOTE: this is an unusually dense forest for Iceland, so GPS coverage is poor around the cache site, but the cache should not be too hard to find.
