Geocache Description:

Located near a developed parking area with fire rings and concrete picnic tables about 2 miles up a gravel road N.E. of Fredonia, Az. Take Wood Hill road just south of the visitor center.

Cache is located just East of a local landmark called the clam shell. There is a short scramble up the hill, be careful here. Make sure to examine the rock art just under the large overhanging rock, don't worry about the rock's stability, last time we were there a pickup truck was parked on top of it. A lot of people use/abuse this neat area so remember to stay on the established road with your vehicles, and our motto cache in trash out applies here. Cache contains items with a shell theme.
