This cache brings you to an old Catholic cemetery. The church, which was built prior to the 1860s, was located here until 1894. It stood in front of the cemetery and is now gone. Check out the gravestone behind the cemetery on the outside of the fence. It belongs to Dr. Hemstreet, who was said to be a farmer, dentist and lawyer. His character was somewhat questionable. The story goes that in 1881, he was killed with a fence rail at a dance at the Boneberger Dance Hall. He was buried outside the Catholic cemetery. There is a new sign here that says: Old St. Joseph Cemetery
