Geocache Description:

The cache is at the posted location. Please complete the challenge before seeking this cache. With the Presidential Election coming soon I thought it might be fun to add a little education about the Electoral College.

The Electoral College was created in Article 2 Section 1 of the United States Constitution. 

" Each State shall appoint, in such a Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative or Person holding Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector."

As it stands now there are 535 Electors representing the states and 3 for the District of Columbia, a total of 538.  To win the Presidency the candidate must get 270 or more votes in the Electoral College. 

The objective of this challenge..To have found at least one cache in states with enough Electoral College Votes to become President.  (270 or more)  This can be done with as few as 15 states (If you get the right ones) or it could take as many as 36 states.

There is no Starting date on this cache.  If you have already been to a state count it.  Please in your log include the number of states and the Electoral college votes that you would have at the time you complete the challenge.  ( I have 29 States with 393 Electoral College votes at the time I am creating this cache. )
