We’ve all had those moments. You’re out in the woods, geocaching, and a giant spider is guarding the cache. The sound of cracking branches, maybe it’s just a deer you spooked. You hear some howling and are convinced the coyotes are going to get you this time… Or maybe you stumble upon a campsite; perhaps the forest itself is eerie, like something out of a horror movie. Maybe it was nothing more than a twig on the back of your neck while bushwhacking, but it sure felt like it was crawling. It could be just some loose rocks or a slip while descending a ravine. Those little moments that gets your heart pounding.
This series is dedicated to those moments, in hopes of recreating those “ADRENALINE RUSHES” just for fun.
The first cache is at the posted coordinates, the rest are mysteries. Each cache leads you to the next stage in the series; you should bring a writing utensil with you. Please put all caches back as you found them for the next cacher to enjoy! The actual terrain rating will vary with the weather and the route you choose. Continue all the way to the final- keeping an eye out for anything that may have an eye on you. Be careful, some areas you may encounter could have broken bottles, plates, and other trash. This series is perfect to practice CITO.
