11th in a series of 17 honoring past and present mayors of Crosby, ND. Orville Tryhus won the election of 1950 and then headed the city of Crosby for the next 20 years! Mayor Tryhus did many wonderful things in crosby during a time when the area was experiencing a decline in population every year. City clean ups, revitalizing main street, he was a driving force, along with Rev Norm Anderson for the "Cleaning up of Crosby". Demolishing old abandoned structures, cleaning up the parks, and brining life back into Crosby were his main focus.
Be wary of the deep ditch and culvert right around the cache trail. step carefully.
