This cache is out on the island at Vega State Park. Park Pass is required.
This cache is almost 400 feet from the parking lot. It is a flat, easy walk, though. It is located at the biggest, farthest tree out in this section of the island. May be difficult to access when there is deep snow without a snow mobile, snow shoes or cross country skis, but should still be able to find it if you can get there. Lots of deer come down on the island during the summer and fall. There are lots of neat critters that you might spot in the area. We received permission from Park Service and DOW (since they have merged) to place this cache. Congratulations to Rojo464 for FTF!
