Non loin de Lourdes,sur les hauteurs, se trouve le village de Bartres, intimement lié à l'histoire de Bernadette Soubirous et des apparitions de la Vierge.
Vous découvrirez ici l'oratoire de Bernadette ainsi que sa bergerie à quelques pas de là (voir waypoint).
Le chemin qu'elle empruntait pour descendre jusqu'à Lourdes est accessible en partant de l'oratoire et serpente à travers champs vers la ville en contrebas, il démarre au waypoint indiqué.

Not far from Lourdes, on a hill, is the village Bartres, tightly linked to the history of Bernadette Soubirous and the apparitions of the Virgin Mary.
You will discover here the oratory of Bernadette and her sheepfold a few steps from there (see waypoints).
The path she used to walk to go down to Lourdes starts close to the oratory. It offers a nice walk in the countryside and leads to the city. The starting point is in the waypoints.
