In geocaching, 100 seems to be the number that gives us a sense of Achievement or Success. We are all on a conquest to reach our personal milestone. Milestones celebrate progress made and goals reached. Once finding 100 caches was a major milestone. Now it can be a busy weekend or day. Whether you are a newer cacher or meet the logging requirement ten times over when you find this cache, you will always remember what finding that first one hundred was like.
Finding 1000 caches means you are really dedicated to and thoroughly enjoy Geocaching. If you meet the logging requirements, you are sure to say "I really love this and can't wait to get to 2000!!!"
Found 1000 Caches You May use any of the following types of caches to qualify: Traditional, Multi, Letterbox, Wherigo, Puzzle, Virtual, Earthcache, Webcam, APE, Event, Mega Event, Cache In Trash Out or GPS Maze
To log a "Found It" for this cache, in addition to finding it and signing the logsheet, you MUST have previously Found 1000 Cache Finds. If you have 999 cache finds, you can make this your 1000th find (Milestone).
You can demonstrate the logging requirement anyway you like: Creating a bookmark list Referencing your profile Text in the log Attach an image Geocacher names with a cache value less than 1000 Cache Finds claiming this find will be deleted! NO EXECPTIONS!!!
