Gee Creek Rest Stop has a "Blue Star Memorial Highway" Marker. WSDOT has named this rest stop as a "Safety Rest Area" so travelers will find all the desired necessities....clean washrooms, drinking water, lots of travel information, vending machines, free coffee, good parking and RV dump.
North bound Interstate 5 rest stop. Good place to stretch your legs and for "Pit Stop". We tried to make this cache interesting...please lift top straight up and replace as found. Cache is in the brush about 50 feet off the pavement. Not necessary to "bushwhack" but do need to weave between trees and brush. Container is big enough to hold small swag and travel bugs. As this is a northbound rest area, it is a great place for travel bugs going north to Seattle or Canada.
