Geocache Description:

These letterboxes feature wildlife and plants that live and grow in the Nature Park. If you are new to the Nature Park you may need a park map (available in the Interpretive Center or at any park entrance). The clues take you along the loop route counter-clockwise, but you can go clockwise for a challenge. All of the letterboxes are located within one or two steps of the trail. Remember to replace the letterboxes as you found them with lids tight and all contents within the plastic bags provided.

Oregon Grape

I grow in the understory of Douglas-fir forests. I am the state flower of Oregon. I am not actually a grape but get my name from the purple clusters of berries whose color and slightly dusted appearance are reminiscent of grapes.The cache is located across from the bench in the hollow base of the tree trunk. It is in the portion of the trunk closer to the trail.
