Geocache Description:

These letterboxes feature wildlife and plants that live and grow in the Nature Park. If you are new to the Nature Park you may need a park map (available in the Interpretive Center or at any park entrance). The clues take you along the loop route counter-clockwise, but you can go clockwise for a challenge. All of the letterboxes are located within one or two steps of the trail. Remember to replace the letterboxes as you found them with lids tight and all contents within the plastic bags provided.

Coyote

I usually go about my life without ever raising awareness of my presence among my human neighbors but am sometimes spotted in the undeveloped portions of the park. I play an important role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem here. At the ‘top of the food chain’ I help to naturally control other species, such as rodents. Look toward the upturned tree roots about 40' off the trail. Visually follow the downed trunk to where it meets the trail. The cache is under the end of the largest trunk.
