Geocache Description:

This is a pleasant, easy stroll on a seldom-used nature trail off I-84 at exit 268. Follow the signs to the driveway to the parking lot. The trail is within the Ladd Marsh Wildlife preserve, and is open year-round. Bring your binoculars and a bird guide if you wish. Stop and read the signs along the way, as they are informative. When you come to a fork in the trail, take it! There is a rest bench and picnic table along the way. The total distance from the parking area, around the trail loop and back is less than a mile. Hide the cache as you find it, so others passing by are not likely to notice it.

Starter contents include:

  • note pad with pen/pencil
  • calculator
  • Swiss type knife (for a boy)
  • insulated beverage container
  • fishing lure
  • VHS tape "Scamper The Penguin" (for young children)
  • Zip-loc bags
