The cache is hidden around JR Tsurumi station west exit.
Tsurumi (JR) station has two exits. The west exit has several commercial market buildings and public hall ("Fuga"). However big supermarkets had closed or reduced its size. This shows Tsurumi rather is a big "transfer station."
But there're some nice, small, dark & delicious bar (mainly around Toyooka area). If you're interested in it, please contact to the owner... ;-)
Another big facility is the bus rotary. Mainly Rinko bus departs from there. End of year 2012, synchronizing to the reconstruction of the east exit, a big bicycle parking, which also is a roof of bus terminal, was built.
Rinko bus is a private company, but much useful than Yokohama City bus; they cover the area between Tsunashima, Kikuna & Tsurumi, where is far from train station and on the top of hill. Many buses starts at most once in 5 minutes from 6 AM - 23 PM (!), and very convenient.
Rinko bus has one-day free ride pass ("family Kankyo Ichinichi Jousha Ken"). In year 2012, there're more than ten caches by mm1617-san & me along Rinko bus Tsuru 01 line, so how about spend one day around the area, starting from Tsurumi?

キャッシュはJR鶴見駅西口付近にあります。
JR鶴見駅は東西2つの出口があります。西口はショッピングビルがいくつ、また公共施設などが入るFugaがあります。最近、大規模スーパーは撤退、または規模縮小しています。このことから鶴見はいわゆる『乗換駅』であることがわかります。
ただし会社帰りに一杯という人が多いのでしょうか、とても良い小さくて暗くて美味しい居酒屋・バーが主に豊岡地区にあります。知りたければオーナーにメッセージを下さい(笑)。
その他目立つのが、大きなバスロータリーです。臨港バスが主に発着しています。2012年末、東口の整備に合わせて自転車駐輪場となる屋根がかけられました。
臨港バスは鉄道系企業ですが、横浜市営バスよりも本数も多く便利です。綱島・菊名・鶴見を結ぶ地帯をくまなくカバーし、鉄道駅が遠く山の上であることから利用者が多いです。朝6時から夜23時まで、最多時間帯には5分に1本ものバスが走っています。
臨港バスは土日に乗り降り自由なパス (『ファミリー環境一日乗車券』)を発行しています。2012年になって、mm1617さんと私が鶴01系統沿線に10以上のキャッシュを置いていますので、ここからバスに乗ってチャレンジしてみてはいかがでしょう。
