If parking in car park opposite the YHA building. Do not park on the road as it is very busy and the cars drive extremely fast!!
This is mine and my boys (8yo & 6yo) first cache. We always walk this route with our Chocolate Lab Tasha, and whenever we reach the location of where we have hidden the cache we always look back to get a wonderful view of the Tor, and to wait for mum to catch up!
The paths to this cache can be very muddy and slippery if there has been a heavy downpour so please take care. And if approaching from the Brooks Road and follow the footpath you have a climb up the hill. As there may be cattle and a horse in the fields please keep dogs on lead.
If you would like a flatter route to the cache I would suggest parking at P1. There is easy parking at both parking locations but please take care when crossing the busy road. Also if not already done so you will find Celt’s Duo (GC2XGXR), Celt’s Cache (GC2GDRW) and Potzy’s Pot (GC3RPC0) close by.
The cache itself only has space for the log book and pencil.
